Lotte Beckett is an actor, theatre-maker and writer based in Sydney (Gadigal).

Lotte is a graduate of 16th Street Actors Studio and Melbourne University (Creative Writing, Theatre). She recently performed with the Old Fitz Theatre, Sydney Theatre Company, Peg on a Line Productions and Fever103 Theatre. On screen, she recently worked with Jungle Entertainment, SUZY Productions and Pork Store Productions. She has written work for La Mama, ATYP and Griffin Theatre Company.
In 2022, she wrote, performed and produced CLUB NITE, staged at nightclub Miscellania. CLUB NITE was awarded the Room for Art Project (Ethical Property Australia), and received an epic feature in The Age. It was also the first theatre work performed at Miscellania.
She often writes with collaborator Lily Hensby, recently producing and co-creating productions at the Old Fitz, Motley Bauhaus and Fringe Festivals. They perform regularly at comedy nights across Sydney and Melbourne as their failed Broadway star alter-egos, Janine and Bernadette. In 2024 they were shortlisted for the Katie Lees Foundation Fellowship and the Martin Lysicrates Prize.
